Time is flying here!  Walking down the streets I get a feeling of nostalgia already, since I am wondering when we may be able to return to Jujuy.  It is a very special place, and the area surrounding JUJUY is gorgeous.  It is an area that few North Americans venture to, so I feel very fortunate to have been able to spend these few months in this part of the world.

My exams started last night.  It is interesting how it went. The students wait outside the classroom and they came in one by one to take their oral exams.  I did not give a written section to this class, so all they had to do was have a conversation with me about some of the topics we had discussed this semester in class.  Everyone passed! Then I needed to write in their books...their grades and my signature.  These books are extremely important!  They carry these books to each exam.  It is a record of all of the classes that they have taken.

Today it is a rainy and cool day in Jujuy.  I read that it is a snowy day in NY.   It is so strange to see the shop windows with Christmas decorations and summer clothing!  Bathing suits, swimming pool toys and Christmas trees.  Very bizarre!
