Sometimes I come across some procedures for experiments that are interesting and fairly easy to do.  Any and all of these can be done (and written up) for extra credit or, even better, just extra learning.  Feel free to try one or all.

Extracting DNA: What does DNA actually look like?  If it is in every cell in every living thing, how can you get it out?  This experiment is very easy and you can actually get everything you need in the grocery store.
Microscale Vacuum sheet :This is for use with the microscale vacuum apparatus in class.  This list of 13 different challenges to solve should keep you thinking and experimenting
Brain in a Bag: This is not really an experiment but a nice complement to any extra credit about the brain.  It creates something the same size, weight, consistency and warmth (hmmmm) of a human brain.
