Frequently asked questions
Q: How much does the trip cost and is there financial aid available?
A: The trip cost is $225 BUT we use a pay-as-you-can model for trip fees. If the full price is a stretch for your family, pay what you can whether it is $100, $75, or whatever. The opposite is also true. If your family can afford to pay more to help defray the costs to others, you can pay more than $225 and subsidize the tuition of students who cannot pay full price.
Please make your checks out to ECFS and place your child's name and the trip on the memo line
Q: What trip is my child on?
A: Download and check the trips assignment sheet link: Trip assignment sheet
Q: I didn't get a trip choice form during parent-teacher conferences. What should I do?
A:
Don't worry. No one did. Although the email states that the forms
would be distributed then, they were actually given to students in
advisory the Wednesday before Spring Break. This was because many
families were not going to attend conferences, rescheduled for an
earlier date or were already travelling for spring break.
Your child may obtain another copy from their advisor or from me when they come back to school.
Q: When are the trip choice forms due?
A: On or before Friday, April 3 to your child's advisor
Q: When is the parent informational meeting?
A:
Monday, April 13 at 6:00 pm in the Commons. The original date in the
first email was April 6. You should have received a follow up email
with the newer, later date.
