A mini-lesson can be done alone or with a partner. It consists of a lesson or skit that teaches a relevant topic in the class. It requires a fair amount of advance preparation.
If you want to teach a mini-lesson, get your partner and decide on a topic. Do some preliminary research on the topic. Then come to me with your ideas and we will schedule a time for you to do your lesson in class. The lesson should last 5-10 minutes.
The best lessons involve the class in some way. This can be through demonstrations or experiments in which everyone can participate.
At the end, you must hand in your notes and a bibliography of any sources you used to prepare your lesson. Read How to make a bibliography for help with this.
