Contemporary Spain project topics

SEMESTER (INDIVIDUAL) PROJECT:

Puedes elegir UN tema y desarrollarlo de una manera individual y creativo. El tema que eliges tiene que ser tratado desde el punto de vista de la España moderna. No es una investigación de la historia de este tema. Proyecto de investigación: Fecha límite (due date): el 22 de noviembre Las presentaciones serán el 30 de noviembre-16 de diciembre

Create a Power Point presentation based on a topic related to MODERN SPAIN, and an information sheet for the class with bibliography attached. The information sheet should not be in paragraph form, but rather in an outline format.

I will consider these aspects when grading your presentation:

1. Quality of the content. This includes the in depth research of the information provided on your web pages.

2. Originality and creativity used in designing the pages and your information sheet.

3. Using your time wisely and Turning in each stage of the project on time.

4. Grammar and vocabulary

You must follow the following schedule:

Topic (for approval) Due: Monday Oct 5,

Detailed OUTLINE with working bibliography DUE:Nov 2nd

A) Your topic and what info you will include (briefly summarized)

B) This outline will be typed, it should include a bibliography, and may also include some of the pictures you will use.

Nov 21 (D) Nov. 22nd (E) DUE DATE: This is a final deadline. All work not submitted in on time will receive a severely reduced grade. Please, plan ahead. You must email me your powerpoint presentation in the correct format to be used on a PC computer before class on Nov. 22.

Your presentation must include:

1. Your name

2. You must provide a bibliography of materials used in gathering information for your project and include them on the last page of the presentation links.

The day of your oral presentation you must submit a one page info sheet for each member of the class with the highlights of your investigations in outline form, not in paragraph form.

Possible Topics to choose from: If you plan to investigate another topic, you must get my approval before handing in your outline!
