Contemporary Spain project topics

Temas Culturales: para la página web o presentación Power Point que vais a presentar a la clase:

Puedes elegir UN tema y desarrollarlo de una manera individual y creativo. El tema que eliges tiene que ser tratado desde el punto de vista de la España moderna. No es una investigación de la historia de este tema. Proyecto de investigación: Fecha límite (due date): el 1 de diciembre, 2008

Create 6 web pages or a Power Point presentation (whichever you prefer) based on a topic related to MODERN SPAIN: I suggest that you use Tripod webpages , Google web pages , or Yahoo web pages to plan your pages. They are free sites and they are quite easy to use! There are other sites that are available, and you may use them also, if you wish.

I will consider these aspects when grading your pages:

1. Quality of the content. This includes the in depth research of the information provided on your web pages.

2. Originality and creativity used in designing the page

3. Using your time wisely and Turning in each stage of the project on time.

4. Grammar and vocabulary

You must follow the following schedule:

OUTLINE DUE:October 28th

A) Your topic and what info you will include (briefly summarized)

B) How will you organize the information; which you will use? (google, yahoo, etc)

C) What color combinations and photos will you use ( you should have at least one photo on each page you also may have one page devoted to photos with captions)

D) This outline will be typed, it should include a bibliography, and include the pictures you have selected so far.

December 1st DUE DATE: This is a final deadline. All work not submitted in on time will receive a severely reduced grade. Please, plan ahead.

Your pages must include:

1. Your name and your e-mail address (as a hyperlink) at the bottom of the first page

2. You must provide a bibliography of materials used in gathering information for your project and include them at the bottom of each of your pages as links.

Possible Topics to choose from: If you plan to investigate another topic, you must get my approval before handing in your outline!
