Boston Trip

The Berklee High School Jazz Festival 2012 will take place on Saturday 3/10/12 from 8am to 10pm.

The event takes place at The Hynes Convention Center in Boston's Back Bay area. The Sheraton hotel and Hynes convention center are connected to a large mall with plenty of food choices. The entire complex is also connected to the Amtrak Back Bay station should you need it.

We will take a rented coach style bus from Yankee Coaches and stay at the Sheraton Boston located at:

Dress for the performance is casual.

Students should bring some pocket money for meals. They will need to cover 2 breakfasts, 1 lunch and 2 dinners.

Cost is $475 per student. Please make checks payable to ECFS. Students will also need money for meals (2 dinners, 2 lunches and 2 breakfasts) during the trip.

We will rehearse at school 3pm-4pm Friday 3/9/12

We will leave school on Friday 3/9/12 at 4pm and return on Sunday 3/13/12 about 1pm.

We play at the following times on Saturday morning:

Concert Jazz - 9:25am

Improv III - 11:15am

The rest of the afternoon is spent listening to other HS jazz bands. There is a concert that night from 6pm-9pm.
